TEAM Week for Year 8 - Letter to Parents/Carers
Dear Parent/Carer
TEAM Week for Year 8 Monday 17th-Friday 21st July 2023
I am writing to provide you with information about our TEAM week 2023, which we are excited to be able to offer. The Curriculum will be collapsed, and students will follow the same programme. This will give them the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom and to further develop our school TEAM values.
Students will line up and register as normal each day and all activities will run within school hours meaning normal transport arrangements. When students are in school, they will be able to access the canteen as normal. When on trips they will need to bring a packed lunch, packed lunches will be provided for FSM students. Students will need to ensure they are prepared for all eventualities bringing a waterproof jacket and suntan lotion as well as plenty to drink. They should not bring valuables and school cannot be responsible for these. I have included the outline for the week below:

We will write to you nearer the time with more specific details and arrangements. In the meantime should you have any further questions, please email your son/daughter’s form tutor, myself at egue@saltashcloud.net or head of year lgallie@saltashcloud.net. We have tried to keep the costs of activities and trips to a minimum and have subsidised these. However, we are requesting a £28 voluntary contribution, the deadline for contributions will be the 5th July 2023. This will be on ParentPay, if we do not receive enough contributions then the external trips might not be able to run. We really hope that this will not be the case. We will require consent for the school trips. Should you not have yet completed whole school consent, we will forward a consent form home.
Thank you as always for your ongoing support.
Yours faithfully
Mrs E Gue
