Year 10 Drama starts the AQA GCSE Drama course, where we prepare students to become actors, theatre makers and directors, as well as developing knowledge surrounding theatre theory so that students can become experts in the set text.

1. Component 1: Theatre roles, terminology, Blood Brothers
2. Component 2: Devising theatre

Year 11 Drama builds upon all prior learning and focusses on preparing for the written examination. Students will also develop skills as actors with a clear focus on developing characterisation skills and ensuring clear communication of artistic aims and intentions. C3 is a unit that focusses purely on students as actors and showcases their skills with two extracts.
