We follow the PSHE association Curriculum and teach through a Spiral Curriculum that addresses both pupils’ current experiences and prepares them for the future by teaching them through the key concepts providing them with the information to make informed choices.
- Autumn 1: Health & Well-Being - Understanding my Mental Health and how my Mindset affects learning.
- Autumn 2: Health & Well-Being - how can I stay physically healthy and the consequences of lifestyle choices.
- Spring 1: Living in the Wider World - What is financial education and understanding the management of money.
- Spring 2: Living in the Wider World - Introduction to the Six Career Principles, focusing on what makes a positive career.
- Summer 1: Relationships - To educate on how to form positive relationships and how to maintain these relationships, as well as recognising unhealthy behaviours.
- Summer 2: Relationships - To understand how puberty changes impact behaviour and the importance of positivity and guidance.

- Autumn 1: Living in the Wider World - To allow students to set goals and be aware of their qualities and skills.
- Autumn 2: Living in the Wider World - Grow through life-careers and managing money and time.
- Spring 1: Health & Well-Being - Keeping yourself healthy and making sensible choices, including learning First Aid and knowing where to go for help and support.
- Spring 2: Health & Well-Being - Maintaining a positive outlook and mindset, avoiding influences of negativity and having positive self-appreciation.
- Summer 1: Relationships - To understand the traits of a healthy relationship and how to from positive relationships.
- Summer 2: Relationships - How to keep yourself safe and why the law is there to protect you.

- Spring 1: Living in the Wider World - GCSE Option processes and using Unifrog to help with these choices.
- Spring 2: Living in the Wider World - Criminal law and Civil Law and how the law works.
- Summer 1: Health & Well-Being - Drugs Education - focusing on Illegal substances.
- Summer 2: Health & Well-Being - Mental health & wellbeing and the Influence of online behaviours.
