We follow the PSHE association Curriculum and teach through a Spiral Curriculum that addresses both pupils’ current experiences and prepares them for the future by teaching them through case studies and personal stories and experiences.
- Autumn: Living in the Wider World - Preparing application material to successfully gain work experience.
- Spring: Relationships and Health & Wellbeing - Focusing on individual behaviours and influence and the long-term impact of poor choices.
- Summer: Living in the Wider World - Developing financial awareness and preparing for the workplace.
No homework or formal assessment in Y10 set in PD.
